Selling your home isn’t always the easiest thing to do. Depending on why you are selling will affect choices you make along the way. If you are moving up to a bigger home to accommodate your growing family, or downsizing to accommodate your newly empty nest, usually there are a lot of emotions involved. Do you know that moving is one of life’s most stressful events? Right up there with dealing with death, or divorce. If you have moved recently you know this true.
So how do you make it less stressful? Easier? Quicker? Call an agent, me preferably, when you first start thinking about selling. We can look at the market at that moment, and look at the comparable homes to yours. What are they selling for? How long are they on the market? And what do they have? Meaning, what updates, upgrades, lots sizes, location factors do comparable homes to yours have that might affect these numbers. Then we can go through your home and discuss your factors that will affect not only the price you sell for, but speed in which your home will sell. Are there simple, fast things you can do that will help you sell more quickly, and maybe even more money? Usually. Really. Sometimes things will cost more, take longer, and those should be discussed. As I have said, education is my game, so YOU can make the decisions.
